Yes, it's only the end of the world again!

I'm reliably informed* that the planet "Nibiru" will be striking Earth on 23 September this year.

Although a quick look using a popular internet search engine suggests that there is some lack of clarity as to the exact date:

The go-to site for news on Nibiru is, of course http://www.zetatalk.com/ who predicted in 1995 that Niburu (or "Planet X" to its friends) would hit the Earth in 2003, and they stuck with that prediction right up to 2004 and have since kept going with an "any day now" story that somehow continues to con a small group of loonies.

The Zetans are strangely quiet at the moment about the September 2015 prediction! Obvious proof that it is genuine! Baby don't panic!

But it does explain the 23rd/24th September confusion. The asteroid (or planet) is going to strike on The Day of Atonement, which runs, like all Jewish days, from nightfall to nightfall. So it is Wed evening through to Thursday afternoon for the Apocalypse. Post-disaster partying on Thursday night!

Well I watched the clip, I read the transcript and some of it really was quite over the top regarding commodity prices in 2015. However crucially, it didn't predict that New York would be underwater in 2015. It did say that in 2015 people would be asking the question far will the temperature increases go. How high would the waters eventually rise and it illustrated these questions with images of icebergs shearing off into the sea and an animated map showing the effects on NYC of potential Sea Level rises.

What about these other predictions?


In 2015 we have still failed to address climate problem
We are going to see more floods
We are going to see more droughts
We are going to see more wildfires
We expect more intense hurricanes
Agricultural production is dropping because temperatures are rising
About 1billion people are malnourished
That number continually grows

Some of these sound plausible in 2015. Which should we check first?
