Have we done this one yet?

http://www.independent.co.uk/news/scien ... 91339.html

It's on the 28th. Does that make it the same end or a different end?
Minority Christian groups have predicted the world will end later this month – when they say a ‘blood moon’ will bring about an apocalyptic meteor strike.

Scientists say a ‘blood moon’ will occur on September 28, when the moon passes into the shadow of the earth cast by the Sun (a lunar eclipse) and appears dim and reddish.

Some religious leaders believe that because this is the fourth consecutive lunar eclipse since April 2014, it is part of a "tertrad" - which foretells a meteorite destroying earth and the end of time.
Don't blame me - I voted remain :con

It seems that there's another one in early October [ETA: http://www.ebiblefellowship.com/studies ... the-world/ ]. You wait a whole year for the end of the world and then three come along together!

I wonder who "some religious leaders" are? I don't pay much attention to what religious leaders are saying but the only thing I've noticed recently was the Catholic boss deciding that his god is less strict about divorce now.

Been a while since we heard from any Jewish end of the world crazies, so we were overdue I guess.

Hassidic Rabbi: War of Gog and Magog Already Began in Syria
Breaking Israel News
... At the festive meal that concluded the holiday of Simchat Torah earlier this week, Rabbi Sholom Berger, also know as the Mishkolitz Rebbe, spoke about the imminent arrival of the Messiah and the War of Gog and Magog. He revealed a surprising interpretation that challenges the usual understanding of where the war will take place, offering reassuring advice as to what we need to do in these darkened times. ...
Note: This is not one of the relatively prominent Hassidic sects.
