Actually he now accepts that the Earth is "round" (as he would say) but he believes it to be the centre of the universe. The Sun revolves around the six thousand year old Earth. Oh, and he thought that wood was an element but seems to have accepted that he was wrong on that one.

Yes, he was injecting various substances into fungus and occasionally claiming a breakthrough.

Garvan had not been posting much this year.
His sudden vanishing was unexpected though, usually one of his other personalties would post updates in Garvan was indisposed.
Maybe he is having medical treatment for his mental health problems and has either been told to remove his blog or he removed it himself to prevent his doctors from seeing it.

Unless he is truly mentally disturbed, it will be something to do with money, either getting it or lack thereof.

Given his long history of posting barking mad nonsense I think that he is truly mentally disturbed.

I know that Strangebrew considered the possibility that Garvan had some form of dissociative identity disorder.
Dissociative identity disorder is thought to happen in cases of extreme mental trauma at an early age.
Garvan may not have been the prime personality but rather one of the constructs, that could be the reason for some of the odd gaps in his knowledge and his childish traits.
It may also be that some of the other religious posters on his blog were also Garvan.

Someone else has reopened Garv's old blog http://garvanellison.blogspot.co.uk/ but I can't post a comment, whatever I try it doesn't appear.

Nothing of interest there at the moment anyway. I'd be interested to know what did happen to Garvan, whether he was a Poe all along, etc.

Still no news on Garv. He completely vanished. At one time he was all over the interweb but now this thread gets one of the first hits if you use a popular internet search engine to look for him.
