Off on a total tangent, just watched the final episode of "Trapped", the Icelandic series occupying The Bridge's slot - 9pm BBC4.

Quite well-done, I thought, and kept my attention most of the time, but seemed to leave a few lost threads for me.

I'll get around to watching them tonight. I'm really enjoying the series, it makes such a change from the usual British or US crimmie. That French series from last year, Witnesses, still sticks in my mind.

Talking of French series, Spin is also drawing to a close (one episode to go). A fascinating political thriller.

On the subject of British crime series, the last Shetland was brilliant.

Finished watching 'Trapped' last night. Quite harrowing at times and pretty grim but compulsive watching. I got confused over who was who, as the names mean nothing to me and don't stick in my head!

I've been doing some catching up on the last episodes of what is supposed to be the final series. I still find the opening music sort of hypnotic, but can hardly make out most of the words. This might be a repeat post, but here are the lyrics.

Call me a philistine but much poetry comes across to me as pretentious TBH.

Song lyrics - particularly of 'pop' songs (popular music from the last 5 decades) are often nonsensical.
