1. Take basic precautions — not just for yourself but for others.

2. Prepare — but don’t over-stockpile.

3. Don’t join in racism and xenophobia.

4. Don’t write off the people most vulnerable to the virus — reach out to them.

5. Be informed and mindful of those most impacted.

Fair enough - although I have my doubts about taking No.4 literally. If you want to help the most vulnerable - the elderly - stay a safe distance from them!
