13 - I obviously should get out more.

Perhaps we can start a competition for the most suitable collective noun for a group of our politicians.

Starting very politely - "a disappointment"

going down - "a spin"

"an unreliability"

"an incompetence"

"a mendacity"

"a mindlessness"

"a catastrophe"

Any more?

6 - Oh dear.
I've gone with a "consequence of politicians."

That's a subtle one - "an embarrassment" may be more to the point.

Like an embarrassment of riches?

Yes - but while the riches would have to be excessive to be embarrassing, any number of politicians from one upwards can generate considerable embarrassment...

I don't know, this week's UKIP leader might qualify on both counts.
