Religion and science

Post by Tony.Williams »

In contrast, scientists don't kill each other over matters such as continental drift. We have better ways to settle our differences. There is no Catholic science, no Hindu science, no Muslim science - just science, a multicultural search for truth. The difference between science and faith, then, can be summed up simply: In religion faith is a virtue; in science it's a vice. - Jerry A. Coyne

Where is the quote from Tony? I can't find it anywhere.

It is linked in this Christian blog...

... of which I can't understand a word apart from the last few...
science is not off-limits to Christians
Which seems OK - there are lots of scientists who have a faith as well.
Don't blame me - I voted remain :con

Looks like the quote comes from this. (Apologies if you've already found it.)

In another forum I visit, one of the posters has some sort of automated system of attaching such quotes to the end of his posts. I think he specifies the general content and the system finds suitable quotes.
